About The Groden Network
Advocacy/Government Affairs
Mission Statement
The mission of the Marketing, Development and Government Affairs Department is to raise public awareness of the Groden Network's programs and to build philanthropic support by developing and implementing integrated communications outreach programs that support the agency’s strategic marketing, funding and advocacy priorities.
Today, services for people with autism and developmental disabilities are confronted with challenges that were unimaginable only two years ago. Real threats exist to the continuation of programs that families, staff, volunteers and citizens of good will have taken decades to build.
All of us at the Groden Network see daily the challenges so many of our families and consumers confront. We believe it is critical to work together to support and expand services for people with autism and developmental disabilities.
We need you to join us in reaching out to our community, policy-makers andelected officials to share the important story as to why services are critically needed.

The Circle of Hope - Thank You !!
On October 11, 2011, thousands of people with developmental disabilities, their families and friends came together to form a circle of HOPE around our State House. The Circle of HOPE was formed to highlight the impact of the severe budget cuts on people with developmental disabilities and ask to our elected officials to restore this critical funding.
Thank you to everyone everyone who participated - It was a great success. But we still have a long way to go to get this important funding restored - keep up the good advocacy work!!
